ok i just bought my 94 RS off some dude for 500 bucks. the shifter ""automatic " you have to play with it to find your gear . seems like there is 3 neutral gears park reverse and drive. he said i need to adjust the linkage but when you sell a car you will say whatever it takes to get ti gone , lol so if thatts what it is what do i need to do? and my headlights will turn off after 30 seconds . he changed the relays but he said he changed like 4 differtent ones all on different sides of the hood

im buying some dorman help pedal and shifter linkage bushings. found a few people using them and saying they work . worse case scenario im out 7 bucks and still got a funky shifter lol
