Clutch question, and timing tensioner question.

This may be a stupid question. I have a wrecked 97 cavalier 2.2 sohc with a 5spd tranny. And I have a 06 cobalt 2.2ecotec with a 5spd tranny. I realize the motors and most likely the tranny is completely different. But question is, did the clutch plate itself change? Can I use the cavalier clutch when it comes time to replace mine? And also, I have put 2 new timing chain tensioners in the motor in the last year. Research has shown me there are three styles, most updated being one I cannot find anywhere, which has a small hole in the side for oil pressure to help drive the spring inside. Is this info correct, and if so, why does Autozone and advance auto not carry the newest updated version?

Format gets messed up.

disc mm/in.|spline diam.|splines
2.2 134 L4 1997 1999 - 215/8-1/2 | 1 |14
2.2 134 L4 2005 2010 - 225/8-7/8 | 15/16 |14

This is from the Exedy catalog so I guessed wrong. They wont interchange.
