97 Sunfire 2.2 Tranny Oil Fill Up Bolt Location?
Thursday, February 17, 2005 9:30 AM
Hi guys.....

I can see where the drain bolt is on my 97 Sunfire 2.2 but where the heck is the fill up bolt? Anybody have a really good verbal explanation? Or even better a picture of where this thing is? I know the general region where it should be but can't see anything (maybe looking in the wrong direction).

Thank for ANY help,

Jay

it is on the back of the transmision, near the speed sensor. if you look down between the engine/tranny and firewall while standing by the battery, you should be able to see a little white dipstick. that is for the tranny. fill it there. strange how the manual tranny has a dipstick, but the auto doesn't isn't it?
