I may have found a car for my sister

it's a white on white 1995 cavalier LS convertible
white vynil interior
4 speed auto tranny 2.3 (were they quad 4 in the cavies?)
157 028 km on it

it needs a front bumper and thats it, the top looks brand new, theres no rust, the tires are new (need a drop )

everything for 5800$ and my dad has taken it down to 5000$ (cnd )

are there any important things to check for ?

ask them if you can take it to your mechanic to have them look over it. you never know when you buy a used car from a private seller

my dad is a mechanic so he'll bring the car over his garge to check it
and it's a local used car seller garage, not a private seller !!

sorry i missed to type these infos yesterday, i was falling asleep on my keyboard!

Is $5000 Canadian around $4000US? If so that seems really high for a 1995 Cavalier with around 80,000 miles on it... I just sold my '99 Z with 95,000 miles on it for $3600, and I have been told I got too much for it.

its a convertible

Ive been checking for a second gen vert for a while and they are all around 5000 to 7000 $
really the price is not whats important

I just wanna know if there is some thing to check for on those cars (engine tranny combo)

I know a bit about the 2.4 but these 2.3 I dont!

That is HIGH!

My friend just got a 97 Sunfire GT... fully loaded with sunroof and double cat back with 125,000 km for $5,000. The guy even threw in new tires and front brakes.
