why do you want to take out your power steering?

Just curious.

I just don't like it, Whenever I'm going higher than like 70mph the steering just gets really loose feeling and I hit a pot hole doing like 100 the other day and the car jerked over and I almost hit one of my friends I was Racing(Honda Boy)...but my friends all told me that if I ditched the power steering that it would handle better at high speeds...

It would be better handling at higher speeds but nearly impossible to turn at low speed. Try to change the rack and pinion..u shoud get a better feeling out of ur steering response. Check all ur table bushings too.. They may be weak. My guess is that it will cost u more money to make a non- PS car.....u'll need a rack with no power assist on it, a new belt that could be very hard to find.

maybe if you upgraded your suspension with something other than 17s your car wouldn't "Jerk when hitting a pot hole at 100mph"

stock suspension, even for a z24, just plain sucks at speed.

Before you go blowing your money on a non power rack, do coilovers and sway bars then see if you're still unhappy with the handling at speed.
