Gas mialage?
Wednesday, March 09, 2005 2:09 PM
I'm looking into buying a new car and am trying to find something with simmialr mialge to my car. I'm driving a 97 2 door 2.2 5 speed. I do not know what sort of milage comes from this car but it seems to be really good. Can anyone tell me what the expected mialge is from these cars??

Also, if anybody knows of something simmilar in the last couple of model years it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you should be able to get around 350-400 miles from a tank... that is, if you don't drive with a lead foot.

I've been able to get great mialge out of her, especially on long trips. I went to the cottage and back last year about 1,000 km round trip on one tank. I was hoping to find the MPG or KM/L numbers though. If anyone has them, please share.

My '03 gets 29+ in everyday driving, better than that on the highway.

Few months agoI had my injectors cleaned & a new fuel filter put in my '01 2.2 Cavy. Since I did that I've been getting between 380 - 400 miles each tank (31.6 - 33.3 mpg)

before I did that I was getting about 250 - 275 miles to the tank (20.8 - 23 mpg)
