when can i get my tranny serviced i have a 2001 sunfire 4 speed with 62K miles should it be done at 100K along with wires and also if im backing out of a driveway or backing into a parking spot something in the front of my car is makeing a clunking sound got any ideas

Is the clunk in the front left (driver's side)? If so then it's a bad CV joint or a busted piece of metal (transmission mount?) hitting your inner CV joint boot retaining ring.

actually without seeing it my first guess would not be CV joint. It would be the control arm bushing which is a very common thing on these cavies. They pop out and the arm starts to hit the sway bar I believe which is the clunk.

The tranny service is good to do every couple of years. Its not costly. I would use the GM fluid and filter instead of going with something cheaper.
