I have a 1997 Pontiace Sunfire GT 2.4L and my Check Engine Light and ETS Off Light came on awhile back...seemingly at the same time.....Wasn't sure what was wrong...it happened after I got my car washed....Then a friend of mine who has a transmission shop offered to check the code for free and it came up P1441 "Evap System Flow During Non Purge." Any idea on what this might be?

'eh, without looking at a shop manual and knowing a little about EVAP, im guessing either a soleniod is stuck open, or you've got a leak somewhere. Basically your EVAP system has a way of checking to see if its leaking.

The main reason is because of a lose gas cap, make sure you give it the three clicks when you put it on.

Thats just a guess, Im not to familiar with what codes are thrown in specific situations, this sounds like it could be that.
