Hey I recently got my cavalier fixed cause it had a blown head gasket and bad water pump, so my car wasn't running for about 5 1/2 months I would start it every so often but not alot, but i recently go it fixed and at first the lights were dim but then they recharged back to bright. So for a week I been driving it a lot but today I drove it longer then I ever did in the last week that I got it back, and when I was on the highway my battery light just recently came on and stayed on, I got home in like 40 minutes no problem, except my turn signal relays were slow as hell to the point that they didn't blink. so im wondering could it be a bad alternator, could my car needed more time to recharge cause i drove a lot today and many times I kept turning off and restarting my car up, or could it be an effect since my car was inactive for so long and I didn't disconnect batter from the terminal.
