03 Cav - Clutch seems to not disengage enough?!?
Wednesday, March 23, 2005 5:49 AM
Had this problem before, it seems like the clutch won't disengage 100% enough all the times, causing gears to grind slightly. For example, if I try to pass the shifter in 3rd really slowly, it will grind quite a bit. Is this normal? The clutch only has 60k KM of highway, and yes I checked if the carpet was obstructing it! Oh and if you press the clutch slowly in, you can hear it squeak pretty loud, from the engine compartment. Normal, or needs lubrication?

Thanks,

G

I don't have a Getreg tranny in mine, but if your is still unde warrenty I would have it checked could cause big problems down the road. I have heard something about the syncros in the getreg getting messed up sometimes.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.
