I got my sunfires clutch replaced on a 95 SE i paid like 800 canadian from what i remember that was for a new throw out bearing and the whole set, which they probably will do..... the everything so that you wont have to go back and change anything else say a year from now if the throw out bearing goes...... change it all at once... save the headaches... and depending on the state of your flywheel

^^^^ sounds about right,

Tell them you want a complete clutch set (or get your own save a few bucks), kit includes this

Clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing, alignment tool, pilot bushing.bearing
Tell them you want the flywheel turned also so you get a smoth surface.

Now the big thing you might be able to get them on it the GM syncromesh trannsmission fluid, don't tell them that what it takes until you drop the car off. it like $8.00 a QT for the shops.

And since the tranny is down and axles are out, tell them you want new output shaft seals down also.(these are where the axles goes into the tranny like $6.00 each).

This should help you alot and hopefully not get you ripped off.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.

When I did the OEM replacement on my 90 Cavy, I went with the whole deal. It came to around $350 after all was said and done. I paid my dad's friend some $$ for guiding me along and letting me use his lift/tools. I forget what he got the clutch kit for, but I imagine it was cheaper then most because he works at a large GM dealership. Good luck with it!!
