Ecotec Swap

2-part question

1) What all is required to do a 5-spd 2.2 Ecotec swap into an automotic 95 Cavalier?

2) Does anyone know if there is a place (preferably in Canada) that sells Ecotec motors/swaps?

I found a 2.2 on ebay with a CVT (auto?) transmission with ZERO miles on it (straight from the factory). And while this would be ideal, it's in the US and I can't afford it right now.

of course the engine and tranny. you can find them at a salvage/junkyard. that would probaly be your cheapest place. then you will need wiring harness, possibly gauge cluster. not really to sure. read more up on it

thanks guys... My list is this

Engine and all amenities (pumps/hoses/wires/etc.)
Tranny
Axles
Shifter
ECU

Now I read somewhere that even if I just change my current engine to a 5-spd from an auto I have to change the ECU. Why is this neccesary? I understand when putting a different motor in but why just when the transmission is changed? I'm gonna go through the performance section now, thanks.
