Have a 97 cavi, 2.2, sometimes I hear a clicking sound behing dash, the lights dim, and car almost dies. Sometimes, when it rains, it does the same but this time the rear brakes shutter, or like lock up. What gives???? Also, I am looking for info to build up my 2.2 non eco, want to make it bulletproof and turbo, any idea where to look??
I have the same sound coming from my dash, i have no idea what it is. it usually gets loader when its cold? if your car dies more in the rain then open yoiur hood and spray down the spark plug wires, they could be arching. the dimming could just be a ground or something. hope that helps
thats weird i dunno wut the hell would make that sound only time ive ever heard it is when i almost pop the clutch and lights dim ect.. u want to make a cavalier bulletproof??..lol u gotta make the car run first..
