Yes i'm going to be buying the GM Syncromesh Gear Oil the reason i'm changing it is because i'm finding the shifter knotchy IE: its holding me back when shifting from 1 - 2 in the mornings but gets better when the engine and tranny warm up somebody told me it might be the syncros but the tranny does not grind at all plus i just bought the car 3 weeks ago and i have no idea how old the oil really is because when i checked it on the weekend the dip stick looked as if it had not been pulled in a long time

P.S Is there any shifter bushings in the shifter that might need replacing

gm syncromesh.. or penzoil syncromesh about the same thing at a much lower cost.. ya i would change all the fluids after buying a car even tho i didnt.. when i bought mine i didnt know anything i just put a new tranny in like 3 days ago ..lol i would drain the fluid and it looks like muddy water.. drained it again like 3 times and it kept coming out looking like muddy water so i have no idea wut the hell then 3rd gear syncro went out so i just said hell with it n got a new one
