Anyone have a solution to lose shift knob in 95-99

seems like everyone i talk to there shift knob is lose in 95-99 i have a 96 and my stick basically wobbles as much in gear as it does when its in neutral i was told shifter bushings or something? also if we have no linkage how do we adjust the cables? my first and second is good then 3rd seems to far to the right maybe its just me i dont know i will be selling the car soon anyway

guess its not really the "knob" the whole shifter is wut i meant..

I was going to say duct tape until I read that it was the entire shifter lmao

screw or clip?

if its a screw use threadlock on it. if its the clip take it out and bend it together to make a tighter fit. hope this helps

I know what you mean. I have the B&M in both the 99 and 03. The 99's is sooooo sloppy that I can't stand it anymore.
