Ive curbed plenty of times, and Ive had this happened, so heres what i know from first hand experience...

When you curb your car, and the ABS light comes on, you hit it hard enough to make your brakes mad.

If you shut your car off, and turn it back on, the ABS should reset and the light go away (after a few seconds, like it normally does).

If it does not shut off (as in your case) they need to be serviced. Noit sure how or what, but they need fixin.

DID SOMEONE USE THE WORDS "FRIENDLY" AND DEALERSHIP IN THE SAME SENTENCE, i really need glasses, that couldn't have been said.... they wanted 200 bucks just to tell me the codes that tripped my abs light.. and seeing how the scan tools for it are over a grand,,, lol i still have a perty ABS light, and as of a month ago.. a P/B light... so by ywars end, i'll be using flintstone breaking no doubt..... (and yes the fluid is toped off) matter facted, was even flushed when i hit 100k miles

Hi Chris

if you hit the curb you may have shaken up the Speed Sensor on the wheel.

Here's a link that is interesting and shows that the speed sensor is the most liable to damage if you curb it

Hope it helps

if it is not fixed, maybe you need them to check the codes. maybe something is throwing it off. Or ... have them reset the codes. I dont know the extent of the damage when you hit a deer, but if it wasnt enough damage worth making a claim,, then I recomend what I said above
