Signal Lights & DRLs

I'm having the DRL issue where when i put my ebrake down and the car is on the light on the dash flashes and you hear the relay click a bit and the DRLs dont come on.

i've replaced one driver side marker bulb as it was out - all my other lights work - the relay checks out fine.

i have a feeling it might be a wiring issue as my highbeams seemed to flicker a bit so there might be something to check there.

the question I have is are the signal lights supposed to be on all the time when I turn the headlights on?

right now if i turn the headlights on everything comes on but the signals dont come on until i turn on the 4ways or set the switch to turn left or right.

are the signal lights supposed to be on all the time??

When you turn your headlights on your corner and bumper lights should come on

normally when that DRL light flashes it tends to mean some sorft of light is out. Check all and go from there.

I agree with Dan. Most people have come to accept a "strobing DRL" as a general burnt-out-light-somewhere indicator.

im a nice guy and like repeating myself..check the harness just below the battery that goes to the headlights.. i bed you have some corroded wires there..mine did the same thing until i cut and resoldered the wires back together.
