Please Identify from these Symptoms...

yes i've searched but i'd like more opinions...

sound - creaking (like slowly opening a door in a horror movie, but metal)
location - front passenger side (maybe the strut tower), louder in the car if even heard outside
occurance - shifting into gear (when engine moves), upon acceleration and over some bumps on the road (initial engine movement, not ongoing)

I recently installed a set of agx's and the mounts were still good... i've been told it could be the bushings... should i try a lube job before anything??? any other ideas???

i'm experiencing something like that, but only on the drivers side, I cannot hear it outside, and when i go over a bump(manhole) with either wheel i can't hear it. On my driveway i started to bounce the car up and down and my dad heard the noise inside but i didn't, i'm thinking that it could be the dash flexing and creaking.

Yeah, sounds like an upper strut mount. If you want to verify it, there is a crazy way to do it...

Get a second person in the car with you.
Find a bumpy road with no traffic.
Open the hood.
Drive the car while your passenger (or vice-versa) leans out the sunroof or passenger door and stares at the top of the strut mount through the gap where the hood hinges. If the mount is bad, you will see the nut on the top of the strut bounce up and down at the same time you hear the noise.

I did that with my dad and although we looked stupid, it was a relief to finally know wtf the noise was. If it is a strut mount, you should replace them both at the same time.
