DO you have the right bulb?

Check the power feeds to the bulbs. I had a similar problem on my 99 sunfire gt, and the power feed to the passenger bulb was broken, I fiexed it, and no more problems. just check all the wiring, and you will probably find a broken wire.

Do your DRLs "strobe" when you put your car in gear? If so, this will cause the drivers side light not to work. Check your DRL realy if you get this problem.

Otherwise, what he said ^^^

I told someone how to check the wires in this thread.

This might help fix your problem.
