Suggested repair manuals?
Friday, April 29, 2005 4:59 PM
I've heard of Chilton's and Haynes....

I've found two for Haynes, one does 1996-2000, one does 1996-2001. Different books? Or same book, but updated?

Any suggestions which is better?
Does Chilton's have a 96+ manual for J bods?
Any other suggestions?

My car is a 2001 for reference purposes.

I know it's JUST a Cavalier, and I'm sorry if I hurt your ego.

I just bought the factory service manuals. Go to a swap meet in your area and you might get lucky in fiding a used one Otherwise they are big money from a dealer but WELL WORTH IT.
