I am trying to install a remote starter in an 04. can anyony tell me the purpose of the wires at the ignition switch?

2 reds (i assume +12)
orange (acc?)
brown (?)
pink(ignition?)
yellow (starter?)
small green(?)

also, is the parking light switch a low current activation line for a relay?

anything special i should know while installing (passlock 2 hints?) thanks guys

Not sure what CAR you have but 00-02 Cavalier it's:

2 Reds: 12 VOLT CONSTANT
Orange: ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 1
Brown: ACCESSORY/HEATER BLOWER 2
Pink: IGNITION
Yellow: STARTER

There are variations to the years though.

You're going to need to get an extra module to by-pass passlock. Otherwise it won't work.
