Was looking online at rock auto to get prices on the 2.3 pump and the price on a new 2.4 oil pump and found something interesting...
The part number for both is # 22443573. Same part number for both the 2.3 quad 4 and the 2.4 twin cam. Are the two oil pumps the same? And if I pick one would I have to do drilling or is rockauto mistaken on it's parts?
1997 Cavalier Z24 4Spd Auto. Magnaflow dual exhaust.
They are not the same pump!!! I am sure rock auto is mistaken. If you want the 2.3 pump you are going to have to go about it the exact same way everyone else did.
