AC constantly blowing
Wednesday, June 29, 2011 9:22 PM
I noticed that whenever I start driving the ac blows on the lower vents by my feet. if im at idle I dont feel anything but once I get moving I can feel it blowing even when I have it turned off! Also I experimented and if I turn the the temperature over to the "heat" side it will blow out warmer air. Its really not a major problem because it blows lightly (like the equivalent of the lowest fan setting) but Id still like to know if anyone has an idea of what the heck is going on. for the record its an 02 sunfire gt eco.

This is completely normal, your car is not broken.

it's because the blend door isn't closing all the way. as you drive along, outside air will force its way into the cabin through the heating system. completely normal.
