Got a 96 Sunfire convertible and the remotes stopped working. They test fine with a remote tester. I do the diagnosis the manual says on the RKE module and it's not getting power. Also see in the manual that the Multi Function Alarm Module supplies power to the RKE module. LSS, the interior lamp fuse which supplies the MFAM is blown which is why the RKE doesn't work. And a new fuse blows as soon as I put it in. If I disconnect the wires to the MFAM, the fuse doesn't blow. Seems like the MFAM is bad? Is that common on these cars?
