I will be replacing the short evap hose from the evap purge solenoid to the manifold on a 2001 2.4L and was just wondering about the correct removal and install of that fitting to the manifold. Looks to be a push type fitting. Is it just as easy as pulling that fitting out of the manifold and pushing the new one in? Or is there some type of clamp under that boot that I need to be aware of? Just looking for some info to avoid any unwanted damage...

Go get ac / fuel line quick disconnect fittings. They are cheap and come in a pack of multiple colors for different sizes.
