i have a 2002 4-dr Z24.

when i make turns i hear a popping or pinging sound like a cable has just released or something like that. I think it's coming from underneath the car. doesn't happen all the time, but happens more when the turn is sharp (like in a parking lot).

Any idea what that is?

also, my lease finishes in Feb 06. I am thinking of buying the car back, it's about $10 000.

Are there any problems with this car that I should be aware of? My engine revs dipp when i am idling (goes down, then back up again), i think that's my spark plugs. I have about 88 000 km on it, and haven't had a tune up yet. Should I get one now?
