Headlight Problem
Saturday, April 09, 2005 6:46 AM
The driverside low beam for my 97 cavy only works once in a while. When ever the bulb stops working, all I have to do is push the light bulb in the plug and it works again. But the light bulb only works for a couple of nights. I notice that the plug was melted abit inside and that it gets really hot when the lights are on compared to the passenger side low beam. Is it possible that the melting caused some kind of short inside the plug? If so, is there a way just to change the plug? BTW the bulbs are stock.

Thanks

Carquest carries pig tail connectors for the head light socket. All they need to know is the bulb number.
