I've only done the install once with a friend on my car. I'm not confident in doing the install on someone elses car.

BTW since yer in Santa Clarita check out www.gravanatuning.com that's where they are located. Also www.carcustoms.net is in Glendale, support local jbody businesses

They don't do installs, that's just for future reference if your looking for aftermarket parts.

I have the Chilton, but just because im literate doesn't mean i can do everything in the book (lol)
Hey Inari Fennec, we should just get together one of these weekends and throw them in ourselves. Maybe an older wiser hand would be able to "supervise" as well....

haha we can always road trip to phoenix with fstcav. he knows someone there that's done the swap a few times

haha considering I've never even changed cams before this could be very very interesting.

Eben I went to a shop earlier today that said they'd do cam installs

about 93 bucks an hour labor.

we're talking..... oh..

this is a rough guess. some people say they do the swap in 2 hrs. some say 8 or more.

let's give it 4 hours for the shop, just a rough guess.

so 93bucks. for 4 hours = 372 bucks....

ouch

I'm dead serious about doing these ourselves
When i went to the dealership and they said $1000 for a s/c install
I said i bet you $1000 i can do it myself (lol).
All that to say for 300+ dollars we can do better things
So lets stop b.s.i'n set a date and drive to AZ or do them ourselves
JBO for life.
