Hey all, I would like to introduce my self and my shop. I'm Joe owner of Race-Prep. We specialize in late model EFI testing, tuning and build ups. Mostly with Vette's, Camaro's, and GTO's right now. Lately we have been doing some J-tuning and testing and I'd like to expand our J body experience. If you guys are gonna be in Southern California area you might be interested in a Dyno Day! We are located just outside of Palm Springs Ca. We offer this to other car clubs. There is usually 8 - 15 cars at a time. We also break out the BBQ for lunch and make a day of it. that is when my good friend is going to be back home (he has been gone for severeal months to the army base in texas for training). but he will be back for 2 weeks before he leaves to iraq for a year, and he is really into cavaliers.
if you guys want to do it then that would be awesome.

vacaville is a couple hours from sac, couple hours from san fran (not even) and a good 6 hours from LA.
by brother knows the city really well, he use to live down there. so he could let us know where to meet up...like good empty areas and stuff.

well im not sure if this meet is going 2 happen anytime soon. i know we have a list but 2 be honest i bet only half of that list will show up. and frankly i dont want 2 drive 4+ hours 2 meet up with 3 cavs. i say we just take our time plan it out more in detail and make sure every1 goes.

We did a West Coast pre-bash meet in Monterey a few years ago. Got a lot of people to show up, some crazy guys from Arizon and BC even came out. Check out the pic..
And those weren't all the Cavi's that showed up. There was at least 3 there I know off the top of my head that aren't in that pic.

Hey Turbostitch, How'd your front end turn out? i have the same front end but mine was too low so now I need to re-do it for the 4th, no I mean 5th time.

I agree that the summit front end is too low! I actually haven't had any major problems (knock on wood)...but then again, I take it easy when I see a dip ahead or something. I still have to get it painted, though. I did a quick rattle can paint job, but i want it professionally done. I like the lowness of the front end, i'm just more vigilant when I'm driving, and paying more attention to the actual road surface. I still want to lower that bia...sit it on the ground....ya know? By redo, what are you talking about...bondo? re-fiberglassing it?

NO, what I mean by re-do is re-fibreglassing and adding the bottom piece cause it keeps falling off. I had to go with 20 inch rims. But my car is lowered. your going to regret lowering it if your sitting on 18 in. rims.
