Hey ppl.

Wondering what the min. legal age is to rent a car in the state of Nevada?

I'll be visiting there shortly and need wheels.

I don't think so.

Some states are 21+, 25+, and I know NY is 18+.

Here in Ontario it is 25+.

Enterprise in Green Valley/Henderson is 18+ if you have full coverage. Not sure if thats standard anywhere else. They gave me Mazda 6 when my alternator was acting shady. (of course the dealership payed for it) Might wanna try them.

HUWHAT!?

Mmmmm. I thought NY was the only place that did 18+. It made me want to take a vacation there since it was the only place I could rent a car.

However, if it is 18+, they MAKE you pay this special insurance for being young, and I think it's like $30 extra a day.

It sucks being a statistic.

Avis depends on location.

I'm renting a car when my folks and I go to Reno in July.

Made sure what the age limit was, Avis requires the driver to be 25+ in the NY Tri-State area without an extra charge......

Quote:

Thank you for choosing Avis!
The following information was calculated based on the information shown below that you provided to us. Changes in rental or return location, car type, dates or times may change this rate. This rate is for renters 25 years of age or older with a major credit card in their name.

Please Note: If the renter is under 25 years of age a $110.00 fee will apply in the NY Tri-State area.

So they'll rent the car to you, but you might have to pay more....

I retract my statement, it looks like you have to be 25, I just e-mailed Avis and asked.

This blows.
