I run Wynstar Exocet's...they are a Michelin owned tire distributor...Z rated High Performance Summer tires...they do great in the water though.

I think the usual is Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 711 & 712, BF G-Force, Potenza's, Yokohama AVS's also maybe? I would say take a look at tire rack at the Ultra/Max performance, down to just performance All-Season and Summer tires

Not very good in the rain, I hear. Low treadwear. like 220

But for the price you can't loose.

Actually I was suprised at the wet traction. No complaints here.

I have only run the stock tires, Toyo FZ4's, and Yoko AVS ES100's. of the three the Yoko's were the best. they wear well also. get about 35,000 miles or so with spirited driving and occassional auto-x.

haha its true, those things stick like glue i swear! they are some badass tires, if i had the cash and the treadwear was a bit better id be all over those.

oh yeah i have hankook ventus HR-2 tires. They are good dry traction, we traction is so-so but with the 10 inches of rain we get a year in socal im not too worried about wet tracion.

i went with Nitto 555 Z's.. great dry handling, but alittle lacking on the wet handling if the treadware is too low. But its a very decent tire, nice medium compound. Good luck man.
