Okay, seriously? WTF? Did we get hacked? I can't access the forums or anything... even with my test account.

Geoff, if you're reading this.... Erin and I are heading to Bellingham for the day... I'll give you a shout when we get back across the border to see if you're around.

I got a MSN about Gus owning the domain, then I went to the site, and it wasnt there, but .org still worked just not the forums, so I know its not a domain problem on my end.

Ok, so the official "guess" at this point, according to emails from Justin, is that we are victims of two "hacks"

1. From an email some of you may have received from Tylee.. a new user to our forums, but I'm not sure what was a result of this potential 'hack' (I'm awaiting his response)

2. Gus reorganizing things on the forum (coincidentally...? at the same time as the above hacking)

Anyways, I'm trying to find out exactly what we can and can't do at this point. I'm still locked out from the administrative functions.

Bear with me!!

That's kinda scary,... I just did a back-up of jspeed incase something like that happens there :/

So far that's the 2nd Domestic site I've seen get hacked inside of a year,.. I can't remember the other one,.. it happened at the start of last summer.

It was "closed for maintainance" (wasnt me?) before i redirected it. That was a joke btw. i figured everyone needed a little breather after all the crap that was going on in the last few days, plus it gave me a chance to re-organise the forum with no-one on there.

Clint : Im trying to get everything organised so one person is dealing with everything (web space, forum, domain, etc...). Lenko gave me control of the web-space, so i wanted to get the domain name stuff sorted out aswell...

As for it imploding when it came back online, I had nothing to do with that. I have no clue why it would have done that. Hopefully the information can be saved. (well some of it anyway, some of it i dont mind if it's gone for good, ha)

If it comes down to re-installing the forum software if we caqnt get the information back, we might look at going with something a little better, like SMF.

Thanks a bunch Lenko for helping out!
Yeah...it's changed a bunch of times since yesterday - it was closed for maintenance @ around 12:30-ish...and then when I checked later in the afternoon (like 4-ish?) it was the badgerbadgerbadger. My only guess is it was someone in the club...because honestly...if you look at the sites we were being redirected to...think about it But in my opinion...hackers are pathetic...yeah...let's screw with other people to have fun! w00t!
Re: Badger badger badger?

Ok, according to Damon (who I'm talking with right now on MSN)... we DID get hacked.. on two levels.. both the forum admin, and the root admin. No one, including him, can access anything at all. The forum passwords and access levels have been changed, as well as the root passwords. There is no way in thru the admin panels at this point.

Damon is going to contact Dave (our provider in Kansas) and reset the works... then (unfortunately) we are going to have to start from scratch... install new updated forum software, which has these security holes fixed... then install the mods to the forum, and start the rebuilding process.

(How many times is this now??? I've lost count!)

Here is the prime suspect:

I don't know this Tyler guy, but in any case I have plans tonight (as every Wednesday night) and as much as I'd like to KICK HIS ASS for @!#$ up the website, I can't make it. Anyone who is at Wings... feel free to beat his head in on my behalf.

I'm confused Lenko...so he was probably the one who hacked the site? And that second quote...did he email you with that?? I never liked this guy from the start...but if he admits to hacking the site himself, or having it hacked...OBVIOUSLY people are gonna be pissed, so why would he show up to Wings? Anyways...I'll be there for sure...so I'll kick some ass on your behalf John!
Re: Badger badger badger?

i think in the quote it looks like he said justin would be there
not him

Get this... now Tyler leaves a message on MY CELL claiming he's innocent.

Likely @!#$ story, eh?

I am ONE STEP AWAY from giving up on BCJ. ONE STEP. This dork thinks he's all that. He comes near me, I slap him with a lawsuit.

And now he's claming he's innocent? it sounds pretty obvious that he knows something about it... Odd.

Where's Justin on all of this anyway. Or anyone who was at wings tonight. I wanna hear what the master plan is now.
