anyone going to the track this sunday??
no more track for me well at least not to watch. my car seems like its getting slower with age. and I'm going to stop with the engine mods and just make it a show car
Hey Dave that was us in amies sti on that saturday!! We were on our way to go look at the infinity cars i am going to trade my sti in for a g35 sedan!! The reason being that i have caught myself trying to work on my sti and my bros wrx and well i cant do both right know and i want to concentrate on my brothers wrx!!!!!!

oh thats cool. Do you run better times over there since you don't have the altitude as bad as you do here in NM?
Yeah, I went to Firebird a couple weekends back. I was only able to do one run. There was a million people there. Ran a 16.7 I think I could run faster given a couple more runs. I'll have to go early next time. I think I could get it down to maybe 16.4 or so.

Yeah my best ever there in ABQ was a 17.1 at 5250 feet. Firebird is at 1243 so I know I can run alot faster.

Kev: I don't think i'll be able to by that hood from this payday. my check wasn't as big as what i thought it would be and plus I have to pay off some bills. but if you have it this summer still, i'm definatly interested but I'll let you know when I have enough saved up
i think most of the car scene dies out durring the winter months and picks up about now, unless you have a garage and a second mode of transportation its very difficult to work on a car durring the winter months even when the weather isn't horrible. Then again its not like we have a ton of people here in albuquerque who actually come to J-body. theres what 10 of us? and i know i've seen at least 300 sunfires/cavs in town.
as for the hood i wouldnt mind taking a look at it i'm trying to stay as stock looking as possible so i'm not sure that it'll go too well on a sleeper but if its not too outrageous i might just take it...gimme a call sometime after 5pm any time this week 275-6626 ask for John if a woman answers.
