hey guys i don't think we are going to be able to come up this weekend, sorry

we wanted to, but we have been preoccupied with the car and everything, and we ran into minor snags here and there but nothing serious, so we should be up and running tomorrow afternoon/evening.

we would be done tonight, but we went late down to our exhaust guy, and he had to finish early so he could be at a wedding tonight, so he will finish bending the intercooler piping tomorrow morning.

You guys doin all this work yourselfs?

geeeeeze

I work 5 days a week plus school, so I am never on. Its 1:15 a.m. right now and I am just readin some of this @!#$.

I order the new RK-Sport Pro Street Coilovers for my car, plus an Image Dynamics CAI, and maybe I am going to hop in on the OBX header GP.

What would a 2.4 LD9 turbo run price wise $$?

Well I got school, and I have to get up at 6 a.m. so peace!
LD9 TURBO
this is something i've been inspired to do, starting with a t3 flange that Kace gave to me and a stock exhaust manifold...... to answer your question Ice, manufatured by a company it'll cost 2300.00 plus shipping for a stage one, which doesn't inlcude intercooler or injectors. i've spent time in a few junk yards you can find good deals on turbos, intercoolers, manifolds and bovs if you want to do it yourself, otherwise start saving.
Right now i have an intercooler from an 89' mazda 626 turbo, t3 flange and a 99' manifold to start mine, i've drawn up some layout with measurements for the flange and the exhaust if you would like to see them. maybe we could all meet this weekend so Kace can some a z24 or two?
Re: Utah club

I can't ever meet when you guys do. I work on the weekends and that seems to be the only time that you guys like to meet.

Maybe you could drop by my work, but that is probably asking to much. I work at Kinkos RIGHT where they find Elizabeth Smart.

Plus...Im 16, I can't build no @!#$ turbo!
Re: Utah club

They are having a GP on a stainless steel or a ceramic coated header made by OBX......

Stainless is 150 + Shipping.....
Ceramic is 140 + Shipping.....

These are some bomb @!#$ prices so I wanted to hop on it but I think I am going to get screwed on the installation of the header so I am trying to maybe find someone to help me out with the install.
Re: Utah club

firewolf,

we finished it up and we have been driving it around for the last few days,

and everything is cool. we set the wastgate so it opens only at about 3-4

psi, and it spools up SO LOUD, and then PSHHHHHHHH! it is way loud. you

can hear it the way down the street. you will denitely hear me coming.

we have had everything going fine, and good but, we keep splitting an oil

line, cuz there is so much pressure going through such a small hole, but

we will have it all fixed up in the next couple days. we are getting some

steel braided hose.

we haven't been able to really "romp" on the gas because of this problem,

but when we have got on it, the car feels like it wants to go, but it's just

not. i think it may need a map sensor check valve. if so does anyone know

how to set one up?
