Wednesday, June 01, 2005 9:58 AM
Im considering moving to AZ in the fall to attend UTI. Currently i have two friends attending and they live in Avondale, like half a mile from the school. Im wondering if any of you guys might know of anywhere that might be hiring. It doesnt really matter what kind of job, im just going to be needing something that i can work full time. most of my job exp is in customer service of some variety. so if anybody can help, please do. i meght be coming out sooner than that.

i will also be leaving tonight to go out to avondale to check out the campus. and ill be there through tomorrow. so any help or sugestions are appreciated.

Actually Scott, Im nicer to them then the white folk. All my white peoples are just a bunch of sorry lazy @!#$. At least my brown folk gets work done. My one white guy we dubbed roach spends most of his day with his finger burried knuckle deep up his nose looking for gold or what little brain he has left.

And Eric, I dont know if I should take that as a compliment or as thems fightin words.

Honestally... with it being thursday, there isn't going to be crap in the paper in way of jobs... Wednesday and Sunday are the 2 days when there are a gillizain jobs in the "help wanted" sections.

None the less, good luck and if your still here on Saturday, try to take the road trip out to the pavs (Indian Bend rd & the loop 101). We meet there every Saturday starting at around 6... We'll keep JJ on the short leash if you show

i work at the Bureau of Land Management.

It's a gov't gig, so you get like annual/sick leave, and paid holidays off

i don't think they would be able to hire you full time.

i only work 5.5 hours/day mon-fri. it would most likely be 12:30 - 6pm or 1-6pm.

They haven't even sent out the interest announcement yet, but i was talking the guy that's down there now, and he's gonna be moving to Flagstaff with his fiance in August. so i know they're gonna need another person down there.

They hired me at $9.80/hr when i started 20months ago. And now i'm up to $11.40. I'm sure the base pay rate has gone up a bit closer to $10.

well, looks like im going to try and get on at the wyndham buttes. turns out a lady i used to work with is a manager there and may be able to help me out into getting a job at the front desk. if all goes well, maybe i can come out there sooner than later, but im hoping to miss the hottest part of the year by coming out in sept.
