Durango, Colorardo

Hey "South Mountain Region" people!

Sometime soon I plan on going to Durango, Co to visit someone important to me. I wanted hear from you people about this place. How is it, are there things to do, is it a big town, how are the people there, etc? I'll take any feed back.

Small town. I have never been, but thats because I really have zero desire to go there.

It is a small town but it's very pretty down there. When you go make sure you go site seeing in the moutains.

Its a college town. During the summer there isnt a lot going on. I hear the college kids go to farmington, NM to do some stuff. I mean, sure its like any other mountain town I think and they have some touristy stuff......

Thats what I've been told. For sure I'll check out the sites, as here in S-FL a ant hill is the only mountain like we have.

its a nice town. i like going there. when you go make sure you take a camera cause there is gonna be lots of good chances to get some great flicks.

Fort Lewis College is down there. I went down 2 summers ago to visit a college buddy for a weekend. He said most kids either party or go to the mountains for the weekend. Wasn't a bad time but nothing special down there, except when we got stopped and searched by cops.... that was a fun time......
