Looking for an apt. in Denver
Wednesday, November 30, 2005 11:37 AM
Hey guys/gals:
This coming May I will be moving from Akron, Ohio to Denver to begin working for Western Summit Constructors. I have been trying to find a nice apartment, but all I have to work with are some catalogs that they sent me. I was wondering if you guys know of any places worth looking into. I'm trying to stay close to the city so I won't have much of a drive to work. I want to come out again on spring break, but I want to narrow my options down so I can use my time there efficiently.
If anyone has any recommendations, please send them this way!
Thanks!

Depends on where your working and what your trying to be close to. I'm up north in the Thornton/Northglenn area which is nice. It's about 15 minutes from downtown with no traffic. But traffic here in Denver is pretty bad come rush hour. There are a lot of good place to move no matter what part of the city you choose. Get on craigslist.com or just google some apartments.

Post when your coming out here for spring break and someone can show you around. I'm sure there are plenty off people that will take you around so you can pick.

Our office is right off the highway. Here is the address...it really doesn't mean anything to me ....I've only been there once.

5470 Valley Highway
Denver, CO

I got a nice little taste of that traffic firsthand when I went out for my interview.

Also, there is The Denver Post online. That is Denver's local newspaper.

Where the heck is that address. Mapquest didnt like it.

Your best bet is east of I25 and north of E/C470

The office is like right beside the highway. Its off of a little road that almost seems like a service road beside the main freeway. Its like a little industrial park looking thing. Oh well....I'll try and narrow down some apartment selections and see what you guys think about them. Its nice to know I'm moving out to a place where the people are very helpful and friendly.
Thanks!!

haha...there is no "better" address. Thats just where the place is at....
Here is the link to the company. I am looking for a place close to the Corporate office.
http://www.westernsummit.com/contact/ That should be a page with office addresses on it.
I tried searching the address and it went to a map of the center of Denver. I know its right off the highway that goes by the Broncos stadium and downtown(?) where the Rockies stadium is. It sits right beside a country saloon type bar and its literally right beside the highway, the highway is about 50 ft from the front door of the office building.

Boosted Eco @7psi for now....GTO come spring.....

Hmmm, I don't know. It says it's somewhere off of Yale or something. It showed Western Summit on there but then says not enough info. But anyways, what kinda price range are you looking to be in? How many rooms?
