Yeah I am working a few bugs out of my car too. Rear main seal keeps leaking. The fuel maps also need a little bit of tweaking too.

It was changed once when the motor was built. It has leaked since then so i had Solid put a new one in. The new one leaked again. So I am going to do it myself this time.

I won't. I am not mean. I do however have HP Tuners. I could help you with some tuning. You would have to buy the credits though. I am out. We will need 2 to do your car they are $50 a piece. Just to give you a heads up. Later

Re: Albuquerque

speedo is from black cat customs. They have quite the selection. You can also switch to a sunfire cluster too.

If you plan on going turbo then it makes no sense to tune it now. As for the the credits you can read about those on the HPTuners FAQ on there website. When you buy the product you start out with 8 credits once you use them you need to buy more. Once you get credits for a specific car you can tune that car an unlimited amount of times.

It is a pretty good deal. A bit expensive though.

I am still working on getting my car back to great running condition. As of right now I have some sort of grounding issue that is killing my brand new battery every time I try to start it. So I don't know if it is just a bad battery or if it is something else. Once that is done I am going to work on my tune to get the idle back to normal. Then work on DFCO followed by the high RPM table. So this weekend will be a long one for me.

After that i am going to NY for 2 weeks.

The car is doing ok. I have fixed the battery issue and stopped all the leaks.

I will wok on tuning this weekend. The car (with a crappy tune) is putting down 284.5 HP and 297.5 TQ

hey darryn im sure i wont be gettin the turbo kit yet. cause of school and all. can we still tune my motor n/a on your hptuners. how much and how?

ECOtec DOHC

Re: Albuquerque
Sunday, April 27, 2008 8:04 AM
Well with out a wide band O2 sensor we cant tune any performance. We can change the speed limiter, rev limiter, fan on off temps, A/C clutch engagement RPMs, we could even tweak the timing a little bit. It will cost me $100 for the credits so $100 is what it would cost. If you have an automatic we can mess with that as well.

Darryn.

cool yeah. i think ima wait for the turbo. or slowly start gettin the internals for the motor. but i was thinkin of gettin the wideband. i know out here it runs slower due to the elevation. ima try to get the wideband soon. any brand you recommmend? etc. aem, innovative, zetronix?
