actually its a corner im familar with i take it almost daily at 20 or above same with most corners and the car is fine it just doesnt get traction in wet weather.. like today if i shift above 3k in almost any gear my car spins the tires.. it slid only a few inches and tapped the curb hense it only scraping some on the very outter edge. it didnt crack/bend the rim or throw the car out of alignment. damage from parking up against a curb is worse then this. <br>

how would i be known as curby it barely scraped a rim.. lets see one of you go into a corner hit a puddle and slide 2-3"s and tap a curb.. rims not broken the whole "CURBY" saying would imply someone who bounced off a curb which my car didnt bounce off of or someone who broke/bent a rim. im sure even a few of you have done more damage by parking too close to a curb <br>

well see CJ when you go to turn onto a side street as in residential side street not all of them are wide enough for 3 cars this one only has room for 2 cars period so you have to turn close to the curb if you're making a left or right onto the street depending on the direction you're coming from... and ive taken corners faster then 70 and havent hit a curb you just have to know what your car can and cant do which is why you gradually increase the limits you put your car to instead of just doing stupid things right after buying it which is how screw ups happen.. like you said you did it right after you got the car.

once again this corner ive taken several times at that rate of speed probably like 10-20 times a week and never slid before... weather does affect traction just like tire wear and the type of tire you use and anyone who has driven with the RSAs know they arent that great in wet weather. note i told you guys so its not like i was denying it happened what i was saying is it wasnt a intentional thing.. think about it if i would of known there was a big puddle there i wouldnt of taken the corner that fast at all..

im done arguing about this its rather stupid and its not like it was intentional which i know so say what you guys wish.. but its still not as bad as a broken/bent rim =) so curby still belongs to CJ since he has caused the most damage to a rim on a curb. <br>
