sorry haven't been on for a few days. and my car is gonna be down for a bit, i actually spun a rod bearing, so hopefully my crank is still good and all i need is a new bearing rod and piston.

Just thought I would throw an update on here. Oil was completely full of metal and brass shavings, hence the spun rod bearing. So i am pulling the engine out thursday and will begin to tear it down that night. So what does all this mean for the future. A fully built Cavi 2.4 rollin the streets of Utah.

I'm in the SLC area, for the moment anyway. Used to be in Michigan.
threw a rod... but the company i got the engine from is going to replace it for free. but i also have a bare block sitting in my garage. so im gonna get rid of the boost for the time being. drive around with my CAI and header back exhaust, and build the block i have in the garage so that it can handle the boost better.
well thats my goal anyways... now lets see if i actually stick to it.

lol. i have an MSD pump, some 310cc injectors, a bunch of intercooler piping, but honestly, i would do some work the engine first, im scared to blow up again, it wasnt a good feeling.
