Its not like I'm doing mach one through a play ground zones or anything like that.

As for turbo birds, I still say they aren't the fastest stock j bodies, the one I lined up against was probably on its last legs as it was probaby over 20 years old with tons of kms. And yeah the guy driving it was in my class and wanted to race.

and yet the turbo bird still is the fastest production (hear that AJ, PRODUCTION) J on the market. with that many clicks, prolly near death it was. if you go up against a fresh rebuild,

Hmmm. since when is a Ford GT and a Corvette tuner cars?

yes, I have raced, on a sanctioned track. otherwise, I at max go 20 over, sure, I've done faster, but was at 11:30 getting my friend who got poisoning with a police escort.

Ford GT and corvette are considered exotics, unless talking about GT Rustang, then called pony, either ya no tuner there, Id still rock the 2.0 with my 2.4 lol, put bigger turbo, hell gut it I'd still beat it lol, or go rebuild one Ill stay with the 500,xxxkm engine and beat it lol, I will be putting pics of the j in the next week or so, rearranging engine bay, cleaned her up (a bit), still waiting for the handle install as still haven't passed out-of-province, but she will this time hehe, kinda cheating this time, been working/modding all week my hands are still black lol, as soon as wiring all back together I will be starting on the new car, still need to reattach the wires I cut and extended, fuse box still needs mounting location, and battery hasn't been touched, but the tray is GONE, dirty bastard didnt want to come out

Well, I've been told by a mechanic that my car's body is in too poor of shape to pass inspection. The good news is I already have a body for the parts that are good to go on, and it has no broken/cracked glass on it, and it WILL pass inspection. On top of that, I may be getting new wheels for my fit for free. Two weeks and I'll get a look at them. All I know is that they're alloy wheels off a Civic. No idea which ones. If they're too small, I can just sell em to put toward a set of different wheels, but I'm hoping they're 15x6.5 so I can use the stock tire and then put winters on the stock ugly LX wheels.

nice, and so update on the car (my z24), I relocated the fusebox to the cab(not sure where to mount it yet, or how), battery is in the trunk(waiting for smaller box), battery powers everything, grounded nicely, now the problem is shes not getting spark to the coils, and not sure if I am missing a ground at the starter.....do the coils ground there or somewhere else?, I have to finish cleaning up the wires, and mount a battery box in there, then reinstall the racing seats( BC inspectors cant fail racing seats if mounted right and slide back and forth), so I need to find pictures how and where to put that fuse box(anyone want to help would be great lol), then shes going in for another inspection, and hopefully this time pass as I covered everything that failed the first time. battery tray that was in front is gone, after all done and running then taking off intake manifold and cleaning/smoothing it out, and found out there is 2 spare pink ignition wires that go under the hood, I looked at every wire cut and labeled but yet still have 2 left over :S......so if everything is good within a month or 2 should be going to Edmonton for much needed parts and my 2.3 oiling setup , and the 75 pound bottle is sitting arround IF I really want to install (doubtful)

There is nothing to really mount the fuse box too. I just made a small bracket and mounted it to the back of the fuse box so I had something to mount it with. Then with the removal of the abs module under the dash, I used that mounting locating to mount my fuse box. Cant really take any pics as its in the car and covered by the dash now. Not sure about the pink wires, best bet is to go through your wiring diagrams in your manual. Il have a quik look at my diargam I made and check the pink wires.

There is no ground at the starter, unless your talking about the spot on the block they use to ground a bunch of stuff from the factory ( under the intake manifold )
Are you getting power to the coils? Have you used a test light to check?

Edit; I checked my diagrams and the there should be three pink wires that go to your fuse box. One should go to your fuel pump relay and the other two are both ABS relay. Hope this helps

Does anyone know exactly what makes a body of a car unable to pass inspection in AB? My mechanic friend said my car won't pass for it, but I don't see anything but the one door being a problem. Most of the car is still pretty solid. The paint is fading, but there are much worse cars on the road that mine.
