just like to see some j's at the show. last year, for any that didnt go, theres was ONE cavy there to represent the j-bodies. this was among thousands of cars(and trucks). i dont expect to win but would be nice to get a few j's to show esp with the magazine coverage that will be there.
i guess the excitment this started with has dewindled down to almost nothing.
there will be a couple of dfw area j's rolling down there.
i think its time for the south texas j's to roll up north for a meet!!!

Weekend passes this year will be $30.00 per person at the gate. The Custom Sounds Texas Heat Wave 15th annual custom Truck and Car Show will be held at the Travis County Expo center in Austin Texas.
For the 15th consecutive Year the event will be covered by Import Tuner, Street Truck, Truckin', Mini Truckin', Sport Truck, Tail Gate, Street Customs and many other national Magazines.
THW is also a SEMA member since 1999. The Custom Sounds Texas Heat Wave offers enjoyment for all and plenty of hot show competition with over 150 classes the Custom Sounds Texas Heat Wave is open to all makes and models. Over 400 awards, cash prizes will be presented to the participants through out the weekend. The First 100 pre entries will receive on free event T-Shirt, and the first 300 participants through the gate will receive a goodie bag and a dash plaque.
Other show competition includes and USACi sanctioned Triple Point Regional Car Audio Competition with class from pro to the beginners. Also Hydraulic, Burnout, Tough Truck, Golf Car Wheelie Races (new this year), Bikini Contest plus a Model car show and much more. Gates open at 7:00 am Friday the 23rd. There will be no registration on Sunday July 25th.

$25 seems about like last year for the weekend pass just to go to the show. i didnt show last year but if we can get 10 plus to show and PRE-register its only $40. if not then its $45 a person to pre register or $50 to register the weekend of the show

no i wont be at the show with the same crew that i was there with last time cause they are the ones that got my ass thrown in jail....and yes i will be hanging with the j crew....also i was just informed that my girl is off work and that i am now for sure going....dont know about my friends being there cause several of them are in a little bit of a hurry to get into the millitary...so we will see about that one.

the crew that i rolled with last year screwed me over pretty hard and so i will be rolling with yall up there if yall plan on going friday morning. My job got @!#$ over for this summer so none of the plans that i had for the car have been done so i definately wont be showing cause my @!#$ is looking all kinds of ugly from people backing into me and keying my @!#$ and the like.
just let me know what the plan is and ill make my plans the same.

shavedz24 i met you a couple years back at the show. I heard your car was looking pretty good down here in Houston a couple weeks ago. Cant wait to check it out.
Everyone. Im coming for shure. But I dont know if Im going to show. I still have not had a chance to even get quotes let alone get my car painted. Its just the front bumper, side skirt and trunk that need it. I dont care about comptition but I also dont want to show off my car with paint chipping.
