The one thing that I most concern about is the cost. That weekend my car payment is due I won't have that much money left over for anything. Is it going to cost about the same as before or is it going to cost more?

well since you wont have to worry about gas money as much as us id say the $25-$35 for the show and any money for food. hell just get alota hot dogs they are pretty cheap and buns. there should be plenty to do out there that wont cost but keep ya busy.

ok, the engine is in the car. Pontiac is working the reprogram. I have to goto the junkyard to get some bolts and nuts. Then it's off to the city and get my car registered and get insurance and I'm down there. I will be rolling down there weither or not my J works. If it doesn't work, me and my wife will be going in the 2k Mustang. Yuk. Anyways, I hope to have the car road worthy by Tuesday.
Well im cool with the new plans, but does anbody have an exact cost to enter the show? My funds are kinda tight and if i can get a better idea ahead of time, ill be much better off.
But i will still be there, also if the other Houston peeps want to meet up in the morning and roll out then im cool with that, i dont mind an early start either, beats the traffic.

we need 30 to ENTER to get our own class. if just a handful enter then its pointless for us to have the meet there. that would mess up the whole point of us getting togther!! weither your show worthy or not. thats why we asked about this earlier to plan this out.
IF ONLY A FEW ENTER THE SHOW(show ready or not) then we will not be parked by each other thus defeating the whole purpose of people driving all over the state and one from OK and one from AK to meet each other. not a few in the show and the others spread ALL OVER THE PARKING LOT. we need everyone to enter if at all possiable. we, the north texas crew +, are coming down there to meet up with other j's and cookout and meet each other and put names and faces and rides togther. cscan already is getting his money back from the rental of the other park so that we could do this at the ski ranch. there are some here that arent up to car show but show anyway to have fun and support the j community. with out such ones there would be 1-3 of us maybe showing vs about 6 of us showing in the dfw area.
SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO ENTER TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN OR THE WHOLE POINT OF THE MEET/COOKOUT IS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN. SHOW READY OR NOT, MODDED OR NOT. there is a street j class along with mild and wild

not a bad idea. we need to get everyones opinion. we dont want to get half the people at the show and some at the other park. if it comes down to it then the other park, though i think the show would be fun if we all enter. theres gotta be one of the mags that will question so many cav and fires since you dont every see that many at a show. maybe we can get an article about the j community/j bodies of texas!!!
like i said it would defeat the purpose of the whole event if we dont all go to the same spot and at the same time mess JP saving spots for all of us and trying to plan a j class. heres a SHOW THATS ASKING US TO COME AND WANTING TO SUPPORT US!
he's willing to pay for one of the guys and save us spots and give a discount if we have at least 30. i dont want to drive from dallas along w/an AR guy and OK guy to have people at different parks and/or people having to park outside the show so then we cant take group shots and meet everyone and see their cars.
BESIDES if we dont get the 30 people to get our own j class (how many times have you heard of a j class anyway, a couple maybe)then that would leave a handful that enter that must go to another class and even defeating the purpose of even going to th show so that would mess the idea of showing and having a our own class and mess up the whole reason for the cookout.
so in conclusion WE NEED TO DECIDE ... all go to the show and ENTER or we stay with the other park. im up for either would love to see us all at the show.
I am down with showing. My car has rims and thats it, But i am still going to show my support for the j community. EVERYONE going needs to show, just park your damn car, leave it closed whatever just come and show support.
