So, just to clerify what we need to bring with us, whatever we want to eat and drink we bring ourselves, nobody is suppliing food for us all to eat and nobody is bringing kegs for us to drink from?
I just want to make sure i understand it right, id hate to drive all that way expecting to get fed and then have to fend for myself, or die of thirst.
Also was there anymore thought or discussion about what exactly we are going to be doing, just hanging ta the park all day, or is there a plan of events, im not to woprried about any kind of trophy nor do i want to pay for any kind of trophy, i mean this isnt a car show is it?
I would liek to float down the river, but im pretty sure its going to still be cold as hell, and im not down for major shrinkage......if you know what i mean.

As far as food and such. Im bringing an icechest with plenty of beer and other drinks for me. ANd food. I think we should get together on that when we get there and a fiew people can make a run to get supplies from local store. Thats how we usualy did it when I had meets at my place. I got sick of supplying it all.

Come on guys. I have to admit that i am planning on going to this, and i am coming from oklahoma. it's only 6hrs and 11mins from Lawton, OK to New Braunfels, TX. Not that bad in my opinion. Yellow Rimed One- I would'nt mind trying to catch you guys at Irving mall and then following from there.

All these people need to quit making excuses and just go to this dam BBQ, you know your going to have a good time. Im staying over till sunday, as i would like to get Away from Houston for a few days every now and then.
BTW: Did you build that car to drive or to just sit there and look fast. And nobody said you had to race i tor anything, just cruise it and let the turbo whine, its all good.

Well and that there is the problem, nobody shows up becasue they think nobodys gonna show so whyt should they make the drive.
If thats how everyone feels why even try and put together these meets, If i could afford to go to the Bash then i would, but something local is about all i can swing, as im already planning 2 road trips this year, each one over a week long.
If people would show up, and then the people that didnt show would see how many there were and want to go to the next one and then you know it snowballes from there.

What some of yall dont understand is the fact that this is no normal town.
Im thinking of going friday night just to party it up some. THis is a major fun place to go and spend the weekend.
BUt then again I dont have a clue of how old some of you guys and gals are. If your 21 and older I can show you a great time. If you like drinking, hot girls and loud music.
But hey I understand that many arnt going to come.
I try and make it up there at least once a summer anyway. THis meet is just a bonus for me.

hey everyone, take this event for whats worth and don't get your expectations up to be something it isn't...its a cruise to mid texas for food, drinking, and hanging out with fellow j's..if you enjoy any of that then it will be a great time..of course i only have to cruise a few blocks..this town is great for hanging out...some of you may bet bored but then S.A. is just 20mins away for those of you looking for more of a club scene at night...anyway take it easy ya'll..im gonna go drink some Youngs Oatmeal Stout..out.
