I am still going, but I probably wont be able to meet up at Hooters in Mesquite. Mike Karas and I are going to be working on my car all day tomorrow to get it ready, and I doubt that I will be back in time to meet up at titties & wings....Hooters.. But I will be at the track.

So yea, my clutch was slipping really bad on the last run. If this @!#$ clutch would have held, and the slicks wouldnt have spun, the car would be in the 12s!!!!!!!

Yah you and Mason burned up your clutchs pretty good last night he spun his clutch while spraying and spun it the length of the track. :O What clutch/pressure plate you going to go with now??
As for me spinning of the line. I made 11 passes on my 245 streeet tires.
The majority I was going very easy on the gas and slipping the clutch alot so not to spin. My best 60` all night was 2.31.
My last 4-5 runs I started to push it and see where the traction limit was more I had first gear down pretty good slipping the clutch ALOT less and getting out of first pretty quick but I was nailing 2nd too hard and spinning the bottom of 2nd killing my 60's.
I think if I had a few more runs to get 2nd right I could have made my 13 second pass. But o well maybe I'll go again when I have my DR's that are in the garage mounted.
