To be honest with you. More then likely nobody is going to tell you. A stock Jbody shouldn't be going over 95mph let alone 108mph. People have been banned before for posting the info on how to do it. IMO it is a stupid thing to do. Jbodies take forever to get going that fast anyhow not to mention the crappy brakes when it comes time to stop...

ah come on you have to give j-bodys a bit more credit..but i do see your point....it tells you that you need to get it recalibrated for supercharge...turbo applications....they jsut say have it done by your dealer....i was just wondering what options were out there...for later applications

Haha You don't have to lie we know your probably like 16 (or at least the thought process of one) and want to see how fast your stock car goes. We've all been there. I'm just telling you it IS stupid and nobody will post it up so don't bother asking.

But whatever dude...thanks for the advice...i dont know y it would be such a big deal anyway..since half this sight is dedicated to high performance discussions that would lead to speeds that would reach over the speed limit so i dont see the big deal...but anyway....i would just like to know if anyone has heard of anything or has actually done it themselves..with or with out the supercharged/turbo application. Thanks

wow if im not mistake.. he is turboed and probably knows how to do it but hes right.. what could u possibly want to go over 108 for.. it doesnt make sense.. unless u want to street race and kill someone.. cause i know ur not gonna be going over 108 at the track.. cause it takes alot to go that fast on the 1/4th mile.. like 12 sec fast.. and if u can build ur car to go that fast then u dont need someone to tell u how to disable it..

here comes the boost!

Just telling it like it is bro. Call it tough love. Whatever... Just please don't become another retard trying to do a mind blowing 120mph in a stock car only to get in a wreck.

Btw I'm ALL Show and no go got me pinned there. Wanna race?? j/k

It is a big deal because all it takes is one stupid person to take there limiter off there car go racing down some freeway and slam into somebody/someone/kill themselves then they/there family what have you end up suing this site for $$. Which nobody here wants.. Your time would be much better spent researching what it takes too make a jbody go that fast and getting the parts/funds to do so, by the time you do that I’m sure you will be able to accomplish the simple task in comparison of bypassing the limiter.

If your tires are a smaller/lower profile/smaller aspect ratio then the stock size (which by looking at your sig they look to be). The gauge will be off by a small amount. Probably not by but a few mph at 60-70mph but the faster you go the more it will be off.

to give the simplest answer to "can it be done", yes, the limiter can be disabled on your car or most any other j-car out there with minimal hassle. i've never done it, i never wanted to do it on either of my limited cars (the wagon isn't limited at 108, not that it matters). i simply never had the urge to go faster than 75 or 80, depending on local limits.

you know times are changing when...
at one point, there was a how-to for disabling the limiter on this site
now folks get banned for posting the info
ponder that, why don't ya'?

Have you seen the turbo wagon?

14.069 @ 98.91mph
229.1hp & 261.7ft/lbs @ 6psi
