hey,

adler came over my house today and insalled my motor mounts (upper and lower) and a smaller, lighter pulley. Car should run a little faster now.

so now my mods are, catback exhaust, cold air intake, obx racing header, upper and lower mounts, pulley.

How hard was that pulley install?

Dude... u should of put something that would made a girl wet her pants! like something BIG! and quick! perhaps something that may gain you more than 2-3 lbs. of torque and probably 1 hp, and not reduce the effectiveness of your a/c compressor. Unless you do a lot of other internal work, u might make her WET!

Full kitted sunfire-
You didn't have to blow up on Yolie for that. That was uncalled for. She was making a comment. She wasn't attacking you. Her car situation runs a lot deeper than you will ever know. She was simply being jocular. However, Yolie is right to a point. You might not see more than 5 horses, if that. Mounts don't add power. It may feel faster, but the only way you will be able to tell is dyno. Get a turbo and you will see that pulley help you gain a lot more. Other than that, for the type of engine you have, bolt ons are a waste of money. If you don't believe me. Ask Adler. . Adler convinced me into going turbo.

well what she said was very uncalled for, about installing that and talking about a girl wetting her pants.

i will be turboed very soon and i bet i will have more than 1 hp from the pulley being turboed at 10 psi.

Ramon she is right, who was to hear of just a 1hp gain. Thats like dissing us like we cant do better with our cars. The rice heads would take that and use it against us, we are trying to gain respect not detract from it. To fullkitt keep working dont stop there, those are a start only.

"uncalled for" ? For what, stating the facts right? Isnt that what the freggin' forum is for? First of all you need to get the gender right and dont call me a freakin dude. If youre gonna sit there and cry about it, then you shouldnt of posted. You know very well that once you post not everyone will agree with whatever you say or state. Posting comes with a lot of different opinions. If you were expecting for everyone to yay about new mods, i suggest you check your self. The forums entitle everyone to put their own opinions out there. Incase you didnt notice i was not in any matter trying to diss your "new mod's" I was only stating that in order to get the full effect on a single light and smaller pulley you might not fell much of a difference, remember smaller doenst always mean is better it might actually create a slower car. Also think about other things that it runs by for example your alternator. N-E-ways... During the years that i have read through the forums in jbody. I have notice 80% of people are jocular, for example take a look at ramon, unfortunately never has nothing serious to say. so in other words if you cant take the heat, dont even bother to post.

Next time dont tell a lady to STFU when she knows her stuff. OKAY!

if you can give me proof of installing a pulley and going to the dyno and only getting 1 hp, then i will say your correct. Also proof to me that my ac will show effectivness.

The smaller and lighter ASP crank pulley will not cause problems with the a/c compressor. The crank pulley could have added 1hp or maybe even 8hp, but I have not seen a legit dyno sheet to prove it.

Darius has seen the light at the other end of the tunnel. And that light is TURBO!!! Darius's turbo kit is almost ready to be put on the car. All we need to do is send the piping & other turbo parts to be coated, and then it will be boostin' time . I cant until we install your kit and start roasting the tires on the street.

I am starting work on my engine too, i got a header comming in and i already have the exhaust at the house waiting to be installed. I figured i would get them both done at the same time, I think after that i am going to get head work done like a valve job and a p&p, rockers, rods, engine mounts.

Adler or danny- do you know a good place to get the head worked on for a decent price? also do you guys know of any good muffler shops that will install the header at the same time as the exhaust? i have a highflow cat, a 14" resonator and a magnaflow muffler and i want to run 2.25 straight through.

Try this place. http://www.tjcylinderheads.com/index.cfm He suppose to be really good at doing headwork. He done port work on alot of race cars.
