well i run the same tires on mine and havent had any trouble, but i will be keeping an eye on them from now on.

Glad it wasnt worse.

Well my car got towed to the trans shop monday afternoon, and i recieved my new slave cylinder from SPEC on tuesday morning, took it up to the shop and they said they shoud have it done that evening, well its now thursday night, the shop cloeses in 30 minures and i havent heard anything yet.

So hopefully it will be ready friday.

I was hopeing to have the new clutch broke it and have the N2O back in the car for a trip to the track this weekend. Guess it will have to wait now.

Well its now monday afternoon, and the trans shop just got the car bacjk together, but now there telling me that they cant get the clutch to bleed out eothr, and are telling me the master cylinder is bad.

If the Clutch MC was working when i parked the car and pulled it apart, how the hell can it be bad when i put everything back together and need replaced???

They said a new Clutch MC wa 150 and becasue they took so long with the car they wont charge me for installation, but if this is the case then the money im going to have to pay for the trans R & R was a total waste. Alomg with the 118 bucks for the new slave cylinder.

Man this thing is pissing me off today.

That sucks.

If it makes you feel better my tranny is slipping again 10 months after the $1800 rebuild.

Next time Im just going to swap in a low milage one and spend about a 1/4 of that.

While it doestnmake me feel any better, id take it back up there and make them fix it.

Of course if you werent so abusive on the car maybe it wouldnt break.

well they said it willbe done today, i just called them and they have the new Clutch MC installed and will be getting it bleed and then it should be good to go.

Ive changed my driving habits after I rebuilt that tranny. Im easy on it. I go fast from time to time but nothing like what I used to do to it.

But I screwed myself out of my waranty becasue I I didnt go back for the check up within two weeks of the rebuild.

Well i got my car back today, and 525 bucks later(375 to R&R the trans and 150 for a new Clutch MC) the clutch works, but the pedal is pretty soft.

But the clutch disengages right at the top of the travel, barly have to push the pedal, and im going to have to get used to this all over again.

Got onto it alittle bit and it runs pretty good, and i caught a pretty good 2nd and i think even 3rd gear sratch.

Im going to try and send the new Slave back to spec as it wasnt needed, hopefully they take it back and i can recouope 80 bucks.

Allllllrighty then. Give it a few week's it should be just fine. Did they happen to say what caused it to fail?

Re: MOD DAY pics and disc

Well only thing the shop said was that it was probably weak and on its way out, and when we tried to bleed it a second time, i go tit to bleed a week before i replaced the clutch, that the seal just went and it wouldnt build pressure.

It probably would have went out down the road sometime anyways.
