It sounds like all you need is a good frame. I would go to the junk yard and find a cavalier that has not been wrecked and ask them to buy it. then all you have to do is transfer what is good from your wrecked one.

I have a black 99 Sunfire 2.2 5 speed for sale . $950 or best offer. It needs a new steering wheel, exhaust, shift cables, and it will be all ready to go. Motor and trans are both still good. New radiator, headgasket, brakes, and clutch were done about 1 1/2 years ago. And it has cold a/c!!!!!!!!

how much would it be if u fix those couple of problems

I would want about $1500 for the car if I fix the steering wheel, put on new exhaust, and put in the shift cables. I just dont feel like fixing it. You could probably get the piece for the steering wheel and the shift cables at a junkyard for about $30-40 and then pay a shop about $100-150ish for exhaust.

Old thread, but I think I can answer your question. The reason you can't find a cheap cavalier is because Ben (ecoclean) bought them all up over the past year or so.

You seem to be doing a fine job. Must be nice to pick and choose the best of each car to keep for yourself. LOL Seriously though. That sunfire looks really good now. you two have great taste.
