(free galveston cruise decals for everyone!)

GM Tuners of Houston is proud to bring back the Galveston Cruise for the SECOND TIME IN 2009!!! All crews and individuals are welcome to join us for this event! This is NOT A RACE! There will be 2 meet locations, Northside and Southside. Choose which is closest to you and be there on time.


The Outline:

Northside Meet: Hooters of Spring
120 FM 1960 West
Houston, TX 77090

Meet time is 10:45 a.m. with roll out at 11:30 a.m.
We will not be eating at Hooters. These are merely pre-meet locations.


Southside Meet: Hooters of Nasa
20796 Gulf Freeway
Webster, TX 77598

Meet time is 11:45 a.m. with roll out at 12:30 p.m.
The exact route for the cruise will be revealed during the second pre-meet. Dont be late!


Lunch: Salsa's Mexican Restaurant (same place as last time) -- 2pm

After lunch, the cruise will continue towards a place with good scenery for photos.

THE RULES!
The rules are very simple!
Listen to the event coordinators for instructions.
No street racing.
No weaving in and out of traffic.
Obey all local and state laws at all times.
Respect your fellow cruise participants and all other drivers around you.
Pick your own trash up!
Use common sense or don't expect to be invited to the next event.

HAH. my car hasnt moved in weeks. I ride my Roadstar and my harley all the time.

Note: I45 will be shutdown all weekend starting tonight! Getting to Galveston will be very difficult. You wlll need to take either 518 to 35 and take a left unto fm 517 to I45.
Or take Nasa1 to Hwy 3 to 517 to I45. Either way you're facing heavy traffic.

yeah, i talked to the mayor and told her about our galveston cruise. she sympathized and postponed the construction for 6 weeks. she loves cobalts....

We have an alternate route planned already. We are taking FM528 to I-35 and I-35 to HWY6. It'll be a fun drive

so here's the skinny... it was a beautiful cruise. the weather was great. the alternate route we took was perfect. everyone cruised, nobody misbehaved. nobody got lost or left behind. it was awesome. i think there were about 30 cars. my guys took hundreds of pics. i'll post a couple. go to www.gmofhouston.com to see even more pics.
